We now transition Super 8mm camcorder cassettes
and VHS video cassettes to DVD's
8mm film typically lasts around 7 to 10 years before starting to fade. If you have your old memories locked away on the old camcorder cassettes now is the time to convert them to a long lasting DVD.
The cost of $25 is for each hour of tape that is digitized as a straight copy rounded up to the nearest hour. (i.e.: a 45 minute video would cost $25.) That price includes the DVD (or DVD's) that can be played on a DVD player or computer. A standard DVD will hold approximately 120 minutes of video and a double layer DVD will hold approximately 240 minutes of video. The DVD disc will not have a picture on it's face so you can write on it with a Sharpie any information that will personalize it for you.
If any extra editing such as music overlays, titles, annotations or deleting scenes are wanted that would come at an extra hourly rate of $20 per hour.
